Nessie the Dog needs a home
Nessie is a timid little girl who we think is a JRT cross of some kind. She likes to hide under the couch rather than spend time with other dogs or people. She will cuddle up with her foster mom for a bit but if someone comes in the room she is off and under the couch.
We feel that Nessie would do best with a home that has someone home most of the day to help her overcome her fears yet. She seems to be more hesitant of men. She has wirey hair that will need to be brushed, which she likes.
Nessie is learning how to walk on a leash so potty training is coming along pretty well. She will use a pee pee pad if she has to. She is an anxious little girl who needs someone with some extra love and patience. Nessie is not crazy about big dogs. She has run after them trying to nip at their feet.
